There are two rounds in the KPTCL AE examination and there are two rounds in the selection process. The first round is qualifying in nature whereas the final selection in the KPTCL AE result shall be on the basis of the marks scored in the written exam. Kannada Language Test The candidates who possess the basic KPTCL AE eligibility and have studied the Kannada language in the class 10th exam are not eligible for this test. However, candidates who have not appeared in that shall be required to clear the Kannada language test for 150 questions. The qualifying mark for this paper is 50 marks. Written Exam The exam shall be conducted in offline OMR mode and objective type questions will be asked. The language of the paper shall be bilingual i.e. in Kannada and English versions. The candidates shall be provided with a duration of 2 hours to pass this test. Each question shall carry 1 mark and for every wrong answer, a deduction of 0.25 mark will be applicable.
